May 8, 2010: Home & Building Supplies Distribution to the District
For Woodland Hills School District residents who are in need, please come to Rankin School on Saturday May 8th from 9am-11am to take a look at the building supplies provided by The Home Depot in Wilkins Township to our communities. Click here for more details.
 
May 15, 2010: The Alumni Cabaret
Alumni of WHHS award-winning musicals once again will take to the stage. All proceeds from this event will help fund WHF activities that benefit students of the Woodland Hills School District. Tickets are required ($10, $15 at the door). A dessert and coffee reception will follow the performance. 
 
May 7-15, 2010: WHF All-District Art Show 2009
This event showcases the amazing talent of the children and young adults of the Woodland Hills School District. This year we have over 400 students represented in the Art Show and we are proud of their accomplishments. This fabulous art comes to life because of the teachers in the art department. The show will be held from May 7-15 at the Carnegie Library in Braddock. Below is the schedule:
- May 7: 5-8 pm: Open to the Public  with and OPENING RECEPTION with refreshments
- May 8: 1-4 pm Open to the Public
- May 9: 1-4 pm Open to the Public
- May 13: 5-8 pm Open to the Public and WHF Mini-Grant Presentations
- May 14: 5-8 pm Open to the Public
- May 15: 1-4 pm Open to the Public followed by the Alumni Cabaret
 
April 29, 2010: Red Carpet Gala
The second-annual WHF Foundation Red Carpet Gala will be held on Thursday April 29th, prior to the 8 p.m. showing of the Woodland Hills High School production of Annie. The Red Carpet Gala will start at 5:30pm with a pre-show reception at D'Imperio's Restaurant, located in Wilkins Township at 3412 William Penn Hwy. Gala attendants also receive V.I.P. seating Annie as well as reserved parking at the show. Tickets for the Gala are $30 a person or $50 for two tickets. Additional tickets are $25 each. 
 
 
Woodland Hills School District Calendar
 
Oct. 21, 2008: Woodland Hills High School Mock Presidential Debate
12:30 p.m. at the WHHS Auditorium. A mock presidential debate will be held at the Woodland Hills High School on Tuesday, Oct. 21, as part of the Mini Grant Project "2008 Mock Presidential Debate and Election." The multidisciplinary project was designed to enhance a student's knowledge of the key issues that the two major presidential candidates will focus on in the 2008 presidential election. Students from both the regular education and Gifted programs will be involved. The project also will involve cooperation from the Gifted department, all social studies instructors as well as the audio-visual television production staff. "The 2008 Mock Presidential Debate and Election" project was fundedby a WHAF 2007-08 Mini Grant awarded to high school teachers Ms. Heather Nyapas, Ms. Peggy Seifert, Dr. Pamela Allen and retired teacher Mr. Richard Stanczak.
